Full Stack DeveloperSummary of Major Responsibilities.We're looking for aSenior Full Stack Developerwho focuses on improving software design, collaborating with their peers, and effectively communicating with other representatives of the business.The Engineer will create, test, and evaluate software applications and systems to make them function according to specific requirements.
This person must be able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to deliver software products to the business.This position requires hands-on experience inPython, React, Typescript, and AWS.Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

Implement best practices in software development, includingsoftware design, code reviews,unit testing, and continuous integration.

Apply knowledge of computing systems and system design.
?
Teamwork, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

To be proactive, highly motivated, and highly engaged.
?
Construct, deploy, and maintain general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
?
Design and implement system security and data assurance.
?
Take advantage of AI tooling to improve software development practices and efficiency.

Test software applications and systems.
?
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
?
Create flowcharts, diagrams, and other documentation.
?
Create manuals and detailed sets of instructions including algorithms that tell computers what to do.
?
Ability to work collaboratively with software testers.
?
Provide support and guidance for peer programmers, as needed.
?
Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Ability to clearly articulate and discuss designs/ideas.Minimum Qualifications: ?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or bachelor's degree +8 years working experience in related field.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications usingPythonor similar High-Level Programming Languages development frameworks (e.g. C# with .NET) ?
Hands-on experience withStructured Logging,Monitoringand/orObservabilityplatforms.
?
Ex. Datadog, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch ?
Proficient in writingUnit Testsand ensuring test coverage.
?
ProficientEvent Drive Architecture ?
Proficient inAWS integrationsand cloud-native development.Serverless, lambda, ?
Strong level of proficiency withREST APIs ?
Understanding ofInfrastructure as Code (Ex. AWS CDK) ?
Experience implementing Authentication and Authorization for a web application.

Understanding ofOAuth 2.0 ?
Strong level of proficiency withSQL Databases.
?
Indexing, Foreign Keys, Joins, Views, Aggregation Functions, Migrations, and understanding how SQL works at the low levels.

Hands-on experience with one or more modern Frontend development frameworks (React or Angular).
?
Familiarity withCI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
?
Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and with theAtlassianecosystem (Jira, Confluence) ?
Experience withDocker Containers.Nice to have: ?
